AISWA Career Opportunity: Manager of Business Practices and Contracts

AISWA is recruiting for a Manager of Business Practices and Contracts, a role that has synergies and similarities with a School Business Manager.

As per Executive Director Valerie Gould, AISWA is seeking the services of a talented individual to negotiate and coordinate AISWA contracts and agreements with third parties, including Government contracts. The role would also include work in the area of school funding, particularly how it operates and flows from State and Federal Governments to schools and working with key AISWA staff to support schools in areas of compliance with State and Federal legislation as it pertains to schools.

The position will commence June 2019 initially for a three-year contract with the possibility of extension beyond this period depending on continuation of funding.

The successful candidate would need a good understanding of the West Australian education system and have a business background with experience in contract tender processes and the negotiation and acquittal of agreements. As an Association, AISWA provides a range of services to schools and this position will be responsible for identifying new opportunities to benefit Independent Schools through specific projects or licensing and bulk purchasing arrangements.
